Taylor Made Flight Control Technology (FCT)

Change the face angle, lie angle and loft to affect side-to-side flight by up to 40 yards – 8 different club head positions.
How to adjust TaylorMade R9 Driver - The R9 has a small metallic sleeve positioned over the tip of the shaft. The shaft is secured to the club head with a specially made bolt in the bottom of the club head. The FCT bolt is designed to be retained in the well to eliminate the chance of losing it. At the bottom of the sleeve is a ring of small, gear like teeth, which tightly mesh with a second ring of matching teeth within the hosel. You can change the club head's characteristics (face angle, loft, lie) by loosening the FCT bolt, removing the shaft from the head, rotating the sleeve and shaft into a specified position, then locking them into that position within the head with the FCT bolt.

Movable Weight Technology (MWT)

TaylorMade R9 Driver includes one 16-gram & two 1-gram changeable weights. This allows you to change the clubs center of gravity location to affect side-to-side flight by up to 35 yards. Put the heavy weight in the heel port to promote a draw, in the toe port to promote a fade, and in the middle port to promote a straight flight.

  TaylorMade R9 Driver is a great Driver. It increases my drive distance and allows me to hit the ball straight. I can actually swing as hard as I want and still hit the ball straight. This driver is a must have for any golfer!

  This by far is the best Driver I have ever tried,and I have tried them all. TaylorMade R9 Driver is just tee it up and launch it into space .It has a great classic head and sweet feel.

  I found TaylorMade R9 Driver to be exellent. It rewards a good solid swing with good feedback, nice feel and a great shot. I think it is excellent players driver.

  The best driver that I have owned in 40 years of golfing. I hit it longer and straighter, but can control draws and fades at will. An excellent buy. Highly recommendTaylorMade R9 Driver.

  As I a high spin player, I have always needed a low spin driver. However, I also have a downswing tendency to come too far from the inside with trouble releasing the club head in time - result is a straight push or push fade. With most low spin drivers the face is square or open, making it even harder to square the face. Finally, a low spin driver that allows me to have a closed face. Highly praised TaylorMade R9 Driver.

  I bought this TaylorMade R9 Driver, because it was pretty cheap on this site. I have tried it, and it lived up to my expectations. I will recommend this model to golfers with a hcp from 10 and up.

  TaylorMade R9 Driver is best driver taylor made ever built. the price is ok. took a little long to get. i got the driver for my own use. love the sound.
